Course Closure Overview
The street closures will begin at approximately at 6:00 a.m. for the 7:00 a.m. start time.The streets will begin to reopen at an 18 min/mile pace from the time the last runner crosses the start line.There is a 4 hour time limit and it is estimated that the runners will clear the Colorado Business District before noon which also accounts for the time needed to clean the streets. In coordination with the Police Department, we will have designated intermittent traffic control points so that residents may cross the route during the closures - they are noted on public access map below.
TRANSIT and RESIDENT
Foothill Transit - Foothill Transit route 187 will be detoured on race day. Please see info below, or call Foothill Transit at (800) 743-3463 for additional information.
No Parking Zones: Please adhere to all dates/times of the "No Parking- Tow Away" signs along the course. Any cars parked along the course after 1:00 am on Sunday, January 19, 2020 will be towed. Overnight parking restrictions will be lifted within approximately 1/4 mile of the route, as highlighted on the public access map. During this time, overnight parking permits will NOT be required to park on city streets within the shaded area. All other parking restrictions and prohibitions will apply.
