The inaugural Pasadena Half Marathon & 5K at the Rose Bowl will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Registration is currently open - sign up here. The half marathon is currently at 98% capacity, register today to make sure you don't miss out!
Come enjoy the picturesque course through beautiful Pasadena, passing landmarks like the Colorado Street Bridge, Old Town Pasadena and Cal Tech University before a majestic finish on the field at the world-famous Rose Bowl.
All participants will receive a race shirt, finishers medal, post-race refreshments and a truly unforgettable race experience.
*The half marathon has an age limit of 12 years old. All participants must be at least 12 years of age on race day.

Pasadena Half Marathon at the Rose Bowl
The half marathon will begin at 7 am, side-by-side with the 5K, but in separate corrals. Please pay careful attention to your corral placement (based off projected finish times) and line up in the appropriate corral for your bib number range.

PARTICIPANT PACKET PICK-UP
Packet Pick-Up will be located at the Health & Fitness Expo and includes the following:
- Bib Number
- Timing Chip
- Technical Shirt
- Gear Check Bag
You must bring a valid photo ID to Packet Pick-Up. All participants are required to pick up their own Participant Packet during regularly scheduled Health & Fitness Expo hours.
Individuals will be NOT able to pick up Packets on behalf of others. Race Day Packet Pick-Up will ONLY be available to those who purchased the option. Packets will NOT be mailed to participants. Please make travel plans accordingly, as no exceptions will be made to these rules.
HEALTH & FITNESS EXPO
The Pasadena Half Marathon & 5K Health and Fitness Expo will feature the latest developments in sports, fitness, and nutrition. In addition, it is the home of Packet Pick-Up for all half-marathon & 5K participants. The two-day Health & Fitness Expo is free and open to the public.

There are two entrances to the Pasadena Convention Center’s parking structure, (a) on Marengo Avenue, and (b) Euclid Avenue, both between Green Street and Cordova Street. Parking is $12 a day. Metro: Take the Gold Line to Del Mar Station or Memorial Park Station. Both are approximately 0.4 mile away from the Pasadena Convention Center and a ten-minute walk.
Parking for the Pasadena Half Marathon & 5K at the Rose Bowl is free. Parking will be held in Lots F, K, J-East, and J-West. Due to many road closures, please do NOT use your GPS; take the 210 freeway and get off at Seco St.

Race Day parking is FREE, and to help make that possible we are encouraging every participant to donate to the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House. Staff members will be assisting our parking staff and collecting donations. Look for the volunteers in safety vests and flashing lights. Please come prepared with cash. Every dollar counts.
Hosted gear check is available for half marathon and 5K participants only. Athletes must use the clear plastic bag they received with their bib and the gear check tag must be securely attached to the drawstring. Gear check will open at 5:30 am and remain open until 11:30 am.
Click here to see a map of the half marathon course and the 5K course. The Finish Line of both race is at the 50-yard line on the field of the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium. Participants will receive water and their finisher medal once they cross the Finish Line and have opportunities to take photos on the field.
The Finish Festival is home to the post-race celebration with music and other fun entertainment and giveaways! Each participant over the age of 21 will also enjoy one free craft beer. The Finish Festival is located on the Court of Champions underneath the Rose Bowl sign just beyond Gate A. The Finish Festival will be open from 7:30am-12pm. Come celebrate with your family and friends!
Age group awards will be mailed to the top three in the following age groups for both male and female in the 5K and the half marathon. Awards will not be available on race day.
