Included in the registration fee is your race entry, participant shirt, FREE RACE PHOTOS, finisher medal, access to the Rose Bowl field after you finish, post-race refreshments, live entertainment, access to the finish festival and one free craft beer for participants over 21 years of age.
Online registration will close on Wednesday, January 18th at 11:59 p.m. or when the events reach capacity.
Bib pick-up will be available at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, January 20th and Saturday, January 21st at the Pasadena Convention Center. Additional details can be found here.
Yes, anyone participating in the Pasadena Half Marathon or 5K needs to be registered and have a race bib. Strollers are allowed for the 5K ONLY. Children in strollers do not need to register for the event but they will not be able to collect a medal at the Finish Line. The Pasadena Half Marathon will abide by AWD Rules and can be read here.
The Pasadena Half Marathon at the Rose Bowl will begin at the Rose Bowl and make its way through Pasadena past every major landmark before finishing on the field of the world famous Rose Bowl. The 5K will consist of a loop around the Rose Bowl with the same majestic finish as the half marathoners will experience.
We are offering two race distances for the weekend, a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles).
The time limit for the Pasadena Half Marathon & 5K is 4 hours. Participants still on the course at this time will be required to move to the sidewalks and obey all traffic signals. Participants who cross the finish line after 4:00:00 are not guaranteed to be recognized as Official Finishers and are not guaranteed a medal or finishing time.
Yes, age group awards will be distributed by mail after the event is over and results are made official.
We will reward the top three men and women for both the 5K and the half marathon in the following age groups:
under 15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over
Bibs must be fastened to the front of your body on either your shirt or shorts/pants using the provided safety pins.

Yes. Pace leaders will be available on race morning courtesy of the LA Road Runners, the Official Training Program of the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon. Two pace leaders will be available for each of the following projected finish times: 1:30, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45 and 3:00. The LA Road Runners pace leaders will be in bright green shirts that say ‘PACE LEADER’ on the back and they will carry flags which mark their projected finish time.
Water will be available to 5K participants just prior to the Mile 2 marker. Water will be available to the half marathon participants at or near the following mile markers: Mile 2, Mile 3, Mile 4, Mile 6, Mile 8, Mile 9 and Mile 11. Gatorade Endurance Formula will be available at all half marathon water stations except for mile 2. See course map for more precise locations.
No skates, bikes or pets are allowed on the course.
